Adding Images to an Existing Exam

How to capture and add images in a saved exam

Step 1: Open the exam where you'd like to add the images.

Step 2: Use the Edit Exam button to modify an existing exam.  

Step 3: Click on the Add button, this will allow you to add an image to the existing exam. 

Step 4: Select one of the options for the drop-down menu 

Intraoral X-ray is selected to add a digital x-ray captured from a sensor. 

Video is selected to add an image from an intraoral camera.  

Scanner is selected to add an image from a scanner, or to add another digital pan.  

File is selected to add an image from a file 

Paste From Clipboard is selected to add an image you’ve copied to the clipboard.  

Add Free Image is selected to add an image you have brought over or “De-coupled” from another exam.  

Pan/Ceph is selected when your computer is set up with a pan machine and you want to import a pan image into an existing exam. 

Step 5: Once the image is added, you can click and drag it to the desired area and rotate the image as needed.  

Step 6: You can then save changes when you’re done. 

Note: Images are added to the bottom of the screen due to the lack of pre-defined tiles, you can choose to leave them there or organize them as needed.
