Concurrent license limit reached or License Count Limit Reached error

This error happens when XDR identifies that the number of computers running XDR surpasses the license limit

If XDR detects that the number of connections surpasses the office's assigned license limit, this message will appear. Here are a few ways to resolve this issue if the number of computers with XDR open is actually below the license limit.

  • Close XDR on computers where it is unnecessary, then launch XDR on the workstation where it is required

  • Allow 5 minutes for the server connections to time out, then try reopening XDR

  • When launching XDR on a workstation, make sure it is opened only once instead of multiple times
