Could not get GetGuid DLL entry point

This problem is related to incorrect versions of the Microsoft Visual C++ x86 packages being detected or the workstation not installing the redistribution correctly

This error is associated with older XDR versions.  We would recommend updating to latest XDR software.  As a workaround for older versions:
  • Uninstall XDR Client from Programs and Features or Installed apps.
  • Uninstall all Microsoft Visual C++ redistributables newer than 2012 (only the x86 versions, leave x64 versions alone).
  • Install XDR Client using these instructions.
