Quality Assurance Tracking

Learn how XDR can help streamline your QA documentation.

Logging Your QA Test Results in XDR:

  • Set Up: To easily track your QA tests, create a patient called "QA Testing" in XDR and design a layout specifically for these tests.
  • Test Images: For each sensor and X-ray machine, take a standard test image at the same exposure time and distance from source as your reference image.
  • Compare Images: Check each new test image against your reference "good" image.
  • Record Details: In the "write notes" section of the test exam, record the:
    • Serial number of the sensor that was tested
    • Operatory where the test was performed
    • X-ray machine used
    • Exposure settings
    • Distance from the X-ray source
  • Save Results: Keep all your test images and notes saved within the "QA Testing" patient record.
