Autoclaving Instructions:
- Autoclave sensor holders before and after each use.
- Carefully follow all Steam Autoclave Guideline instructions above, to prevent damage to instruments, the autoclave, or other items.
- Place components in sterilization pouches: metal and plastic parts separately.
- Position pouches paper-side down on the middle tray, away from walls and the heating element.
- Follow the autoclave manufacturer's instructions for cycle parameters, and do not exceed 270°F (132°C).
Note: Plastic parts have a limited life and should be replaced periodically. Any method of sterilization will shorten the life of plastic parts.
